Viberg Bison Calf Suede Halkett Derby Boot is a refined iteration of their classic Derby Boot. Built on their anatomical 2020 Last, this leather from C.F. Stead is a close cousin of the popular Snuff Calf Suede. However, this suede is probably a bit lighter and brighter than the aforementioned. We think these would make for a great office boot, especially when paired with some olive or navy chinos.

***Note that size 7.5 comes in a plain cap-toe instead of a plain toe.***

The Viberg Halkett Boot is an updated version of their Derby Boot pattern, with a slightly raised ankle/shaft and a narrow front lace opening. The Bison Calf Suede features five (x5) of the smaller #2 Antique Brass Eyelets and four (x4) speed hooks. Fully lined and constructed with a 270 Natural Flat Welt on Dainite Soles.

Sizing: The Halkett Derby Boot in the 2020 Last fits similar to their 2030 Last, although with the Goodyear welt construction, the narrower toebox and anatomical waist, it may feel more snug than your typical Service Boot. In general, even thought it may feel snugger, we recommend recommend taking the same as you would in your 2030/1035 Last Service Boots. For most people, that will be 1 down from Brannock; however if you generally size down only 0.5 from Brannock for your 2030/1035 Service Boots, then you would similarly take only 0.5 down from Brannock for this 2020 Last Derby Boot. For those with wider feet, you may opt to size up 0.5 from your 2030/1035 Service Boots, but please note that due to the narrow waist and the anatomically shaped last, simply sizing up a half size may not necessarily result in a correct fit.
